For many years, we have been successfully providing cross-border legal advice to companies, associations, public law entities and private individuals in Germany and abroad. Our “International Desk” focuses on the European and North American economic areas, but we have also travelled to China and South Africa for our clients.
We support and advise our clients on the wide range of legal issues that arise in international contexts. In addition to providing comprehensive advice in day-to-day business, for example to domestic subsidiaries or branches of foreign companies, the full range of business law matters play an important role. Some examples include international contract law, intellectual property (IP) and media law, competition and antitrust law, project and transaction business, but also the varied constellations in connection with real estate are regular topics of advice. We are at your side as advisors, among other things, from the formation of a company, corporate law issues, employment law, the appointment and employment of management, data protection, distribution activities, contract law, and general terms and conditions, through to the sale of company shares and investments.
We have the know-how and communication skills to successfully support you in multilingual negotiations, with many years of experience, entrepreneurial thinking and diplomatic sensitivity. If necessary, we will represent you out of court in the assertion of claims and, if required, in legal disputes before the courts.
Intercultural competence, knowledge of the individualities of different legal systems and language skills help us, together with our clients, to overcome barriers in cross-border business activities. We are an experienced and reliable partner for cross-border projects where fast and efficient solutions are required.
We traditionally have a strong ‘French Desk’. We have been advising French companies and private individuals on their activities in Germany for a long time and equally support German companies and private individuals in their activities in France. Our long-standing experience in Franco-German legal relations forms the basis of our specific expertise. In addition, we have been actively involved in intercultural exchange between Germany and France for many years. You can find more information here.
We are well connected on an international level. Through our worldwide network of qualified correspondent lawyers, tax advisors, experts and consultants, which has grown over many years, we have access to reliable cooperation partners at home and abroad.
